INDOOR + OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES | HOLIDAY FUN | SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

The school holidays are just around the corner so we thought we’d gather up a few of our activity idea posts and put them all in one spot to make it easy for you to find some inspiration quickly.

Here’s a list of some of the activities we have on our website + a few extras to give you inspiration + save you time.

Enjoy!

Activities to do at home or out + about

Check out some of your local parks, walking trails, botanical gardens, zoos, beaches. Pack a picnic, sunscreen, a ball or a book or two and head out for a day in nature.

Do a Daddy Mystery Day tour

If you’re up for a much longer day out our Daddy Day Tours are fun + educational. Dad decides where we are going for the day. To keep up the excitement he gives us clues but doesn’t reveal the destination (really I don’t think he knows himself half the time, he wings it on the way). Dad tells us what to pack and we all jump in the car + off we go.

You can guarantee there will be a stop for morning tea + treats, something fun to do (we’ve done camel riding, trekking, zoo’s, giant sand dunes, beach four-wheel driving, camping…) and it’s always different. Admittedly our little ones are great with long jaunts in the car. Adjust the idea to suit your family. It’s loads of fun.

Remodel a bedroom

My little guys loooove to remodel their bedrooms. It may be as simple as moving furniture around and reorganising draws, or it could be more elaborately planned. Sometimes we paint a wall or save up + go shopping for little pieces to add to our environment. We may head to the markets to find baskets or toy boxes or plants. It’s a lot of fun + keeps them occupied for hours!

Check out our ‘Tude Wall Art Collections to add some ‘Tude to any room.

Get Googling!

If we’re out of ideas I find the local council usually has some great suggestions in their holiday programs. Google “What’s on near me”, “Family-friendly events near me” or “Council holiday program” – you’re sure to find lots of things to do that are close, cost-effective + family-friendly.

Save a dollar or two…

One of our favourite go-to websites for kids’ activity inspiration is our awesome friends at Spark Pop! Check them out for great savings on all sorts of fun activities for families with kids of all ages.

Whatever you do this holidays, have fun! If you’ve got ideas you’d like to share, go ahead and add them to the comments or tag us on Facebook or Instagram – we’d love to see what you get up to!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
